AT A GLANCE OSUDHI GRAM
The medicinal village consists of about 15 villages of Lakshmipur Kholabaria union, located along the Dhaka-Rajshahi highway, 10 km east of Natore Sadar.
The reason for the name of the medicinal village is that the farmers of these villages through the association (Kholobariya Herbal Medicinal Village Organisation) cultivate about 500 species of medicinal plants on a large scale in most of the agricultural land and around the courtyard of the house and meet the local demand and market them commercially in different parts of the country every day.
Among the medicinal plants, Ghritkanchan, Dudhsagar, Patharkuchi, Arshabgandha, Kashaba, Ulutkamal, Hashitmakarnpalash, Shatmul, Bashak, Shimul Mool, Daud Mool etc. are worth mentioning.
